I had the honour of working with Jimmy throughout 2003/4 on his album ‘Try me buy me’. For those who knew Jimmy, it was impossible not to be tickled by his sense of humour and I have countless memories of us bursting out with laughter in the middle of recording some serious part for one of his songs. Jimmy’s attention to detail was so inspiring and I know his skills as a musician and songwriter were held in the highest regard by all the musicians who knew him.
I can’t begin to imagine the hole that has been left for Jimmy’s family. He was a truly wonderful man who brightened up everybody’s lives.

Sometimes you meet special people in life that leave you all the more enriched for having known them. Jimmy, thank you my friend for so much, I feel so privileged to have known you. Paul.
